I started teaching in the Fall of 1985 at a non-traditional school. I later joined AISD in January 1987, also at a non-traditional high school. I later moved to Fulmore and in the Fall of 1999 joined the Garza Staff. I enjoy sports, making crafts, writing poetry, and being with my family. I come from a family of eight and three of us are University of Texas at Austin graduates. I bleed burnt orange! I offer Algebra I, II, Geometry (Advanced also) Math Models, Financial Math, Pre Calculus, as well as STAAR and TSI support. |

Ms. Mason grew up in Ukraine and moved to Texas in a year 2000. She started working at Garza in 2006 as a Teaching Assistant, while working on her Teacher Certification. She started teaching at Garza in 2012. She enjoys sharing her love of math and cats with her students. |

Margaret Fackler loves teaching math and science at Garza High School. She loves being able to work with students at their own pace and helping them meet their goals. Outside of school, she enjoys playing roller derby, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her family. |
Eric Vignaud

Mr. Vignaud is a native Austinite who started his career in education in 2014 at Travis High School. He worked as a math interventionist in the AmeriCorps for a year, then became a teacher's assistant at Garza High School, and later taught math at the Alternative Learning Center and Anderson High School. He returned to Garza in 2022 and is passionate about inspiring students to relate their learning to their interests. Outside of teaching, he enjoys music, nature, and spending time with his family. |

Mr. Kapasi's bio: I was born in Phoenix, AZ, to Indian immigrant parents, leading to an American mind with an Indian heart. I love the beauty and logic of mathematics and I understand that it's not for everyone. I feel blessed to work with students at Garza HS. |
