I grew up in Southern California desert near the borders of Mexico and Arizona before moving to Texas to attend Texas Lutheran University, where I played collegiate softball. My educational career began at Reagan High School, now Northeast Early College High School, where I proudly served for nearly 20 years in a variety of roles—from administrative support to the classroom and eventually into campus leadership. I am honored to serve the staff, students, and community of Garza Independence High School as Assistant Principal. Outside of school, I am a proud parent of four children, and most weekends are spent cheering them on at their sporting events. I enjoy reading, traveling—especially to destinations with a beach—and spending quality time with family and friends. |

Hello, my name is Noalie Watson, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Garza Independence High School, supporting students with last names N–Z. My journey in education began at Katherine Cook Elementary in Austin, where I dedicated 17 years to teaching before earning my master’s degree in Educational Administration. These experiences have shaped my commitment to educational leadership, where I strive to provide instructional guidance, support teacher development, and foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. I look forward to partnering with families, staff, and our community to ensure the success of every student. I am deeply passionate about leadership and education, and I am committed to creating a school culture where students and staff feel seen, heard, and valued. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, listening to inspirational speakers, and connecting with positive, uplifting individuals who strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. While I have not yet traveled outside of the United States, I aspire to one day explore different parts of the world and learn from diverse cultures. My guiding philosophy is captured in the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” |
